Manage Users

A user needs a username and a password to sign in. A user without a password cannot sign in, and is otherwise a full user: it can be a key target, a group member and a bridge target, and it appears in every list. That is the usual shape of a user a bridge feeds, such as a desk or a commentary position.

To create one, press + Add User and leave the password empty under Sign-in. When a default password is set, it is filled in once you type a username; press No password to empty it again.

To take the password away from an existing user, open the user and press Remove password, then confirm. This signs all of that user’s devices out at once, and they cannot sign in again until you set a new password. Bridges patched to the user keep running.

The Sign-in column in the users list shows Password for a user who can sign in and None for one who cannot.
