The Ducking card sets how every listener’s mix ducks lower-priority sources under a higher-priority one that is speaking.

Setting Default What it does
Ducking on Off brings every ducked source back up and stops ducking; priorities and users’ choices are kept
Depth −12 dB How far a ducked source drops (−60 to 0 dB)
Threshold −45 dBFS How loud a source has to be to count as speaking
Hold 750 ms How long a source still counts as speaking after it goes quiet
Attack 20 ms How long the drop takes
Release 400 ms How long the way back up takes

A value out of range is refused and nothing changes. Tune the threshold, hold and release with real speech: too short a hold makes the background pump between words.

The Audio processing card cleans up what everyone hears. The filters and the compressor work on each user’s and bridge line’s audio; the limiter works on each listener’s mix. A switch takes effect as you flip it; changed values take effect when you press Save.

Setting Default What it does
High-pass filter on, 80 Hz Removes rumble, handling noise and hum below the cutoff (20 to 500 Hz)
Low-pass filter off, 12000 Hz Removes hiss and interference above the cutoff (1000 to 20000 Hz)
Compressor on, −12 dBFS, 4:1 Turns loud speakers down so they sit closer to quiet ones. Above the threshold (−60 to 0 dBFS), every ratio dB louder comes out 1 dB louder (1 to 20)
Limiter on, −1 dBFS Keeps every mix below the ceiling (−20 to 0 dBFS), so several loud sources together never clip

A value out of range is refused and nothing changes. Bridge lines carrying music or program audio go through the same filters and compressor: keep the low-pass filter off, or its cutoff high, if that matters.
